Angelica Maria Vale Hartman, known professionally in the media as Angelica Vale, is a Mexican-American actor, singer impersonator comedian and radio personality who is also known as the daughter of Angelica Maria La Novia de Mexico and as the daughter of comedian Raul Vale. In 1973, she's acknowledged for launching the La Balada Ranchera (Ranchera Ballad) music genre that dominated the charts, making Angelica Maria the first Latin artist to have sold two million copies in the United States. She also met in 1974 Venezuelan singer/comic Raul Vae. They later married in 1975 at the first marriage broadcast by Mexico.
